How happy are you this dude is our coach?

Dead periods in recruiting? Ok, I’ll have an open practice and have recruits show up for that. Heard Pride and Wesolak were in the building.

He’s just been A+ so far. Exceeded expectations on the field and everything else has been a complete revelation. I was a big Odom fan as most here will know, but I now see how lacking he was in so many ways. People around the state are actually excited about the program now. I really do think the sky’s the limit.

That's awesome if true.

Any word on Brown? I'm hearing it's between MIZZOU UCF and Miami.

What surprises me the most.. Is how he is selling the New ZOU to recruits. Simply amazing

The statewide interest is there for sure...

If those are Browns final 3 the Mizzou is the obvious choice. Brown is a big back, if he wants a NFL future he needs a team with change of pace running backs to keep him from taking a beating. Were loaded with 5'9"- 5'11" change of pace guys.

He's doing great.

I always wondered what a staff of relentless recruiters could pull to Mizzou and I think we're about to find out.

So far so good, I'm cautiously optimistic. Recruiting has obviously been on a major uptick, let's see what he does with it.

Yup, Brown would be the perfect compliment to Badie and Young

Our offense is very talented right now

He’s the only one who’s, sports wise, keeping me sane these days.

Drink has my attention, but I am going to wait to see the finished product and the results. I remember "get a board Woody's(Woody Widenhofer) wagon" Old heads know what I'm talking about. I'm pulling for him and like what I see so far.

Raw emotion:

Only difference is Drink has a body of work at the collegiate level, particularly in the SEC. And he doesn't need to flash a pair of Super Bowl rings to get recruits.

I was still a pup, but I do remember that slogan.

I wanted a young and offensive coach so they went in a good direction right off the bat. Energy is great.. Recruiting is slightly better than Odom, Odom didn't do a bad job recruiting per se..

Yeah me too. I remember they made a series of Woody's Wagon radio commercials with "Hitchin A Ride" by Vanity Fare as the music. It seemed like a horribly dated antique then and now.

Nick Saban is a slightly better coach than Barry Odom

I believe it was one of the Post sports columnists (Jerry Berger ?) who came up with the slogan.

Odom did find some under the radar types, but let’s be clear here. Drink is recruiting circles around him. His first class is about 15 spots higher than Odom’s average class and year 2 is shaping up even better

I think the final recruiting rank for Odom's class was like 43 if I am not mistaken. Drink is at 28 right now on 24/7 sports but my question is when do they get finalized for the year?

Looking at the roster seems like 47 juniors, seniors and grad students. C'mon Drink !
