I have heard from 2 people that it's not a given and they are seriously considering other schools. I originally thought it was a very high chance with all the original talk. I would give it a 50 percent chance at best now.

I hope what I'm hearing is wrong and it's a done deal.

Why would they go elsewhere?

If they don't go to Washington they're going to Mizzou.

They went to Washington because of Romar.

If Porter Sr joins the Mizzou staff, their entire family would be in COMO.

A lot of people have made it sound like a given, a lot of people in the know. I don't know who the 2 people you know are, but we'll know more on Monday.

Was only told Kansas and Oklahoma are real options for them.

I haven't seen one recruiting site predict anything other than Mizzou at this point.

I've never thought they would come here. Figured they were OU bound with Trae Young. I think that's why SR hasn't had anymore noise around him.

SR hasn't had any noise yet because CCM's contract is not approved. All this should move fairly quickly after Monday.

That's what they were saying after pops got hired in Washington, too and before MPJ committed there.

A lot of different sites are reporting this. I've heard they haven't decided and I've heard Oklahoma is in the mix also as is Washington. They sure aren't saying anything. The 'pundits' put Mizzou slightly ahead, but are calling it 50/50.

Prepare your officially issued Mizzou nut cups just in case

Doesn't matter either way. Porter is a butts in seats thing.

The coach and other recruits is the long play. We'll see how it goes.

Would be nice for the splash. Beyond year two, probably doesn't matter.

I'm just hoping we land them and have that Mizzou tag by the Porters name once they move on to the next level. I still believed it'd be huge.

I can't see Washington at all. Makes literally zero sense. Maybe an outside shot for OU because of Young, but they'll be Tigers. This has been in the works for awhile.

I'm also wondering which pundits you are referring to because every single crystal ball prediction that has come in has been for Mizzou.

If you could provide links that would be cool. Everything that's been posted on 247 is saying Mizzou.

Damn this rumor mill stuff is moving fast. I read 3 links on the Roy thing and 2 on the Oklahoma thing last night and now I can't find them.

Now they are reporting Jontay has announced his de commitment from UDUB and they are sounding much rosier about Mizzou.

It looks good again but I'm not going to believe until I see it.

One of the national reporters, maybe Goodman, had said Mizzou or Oklahoma.

I saw the same stuff you did on Udub.

Yeah...maybe some links? The 2 mins I spent on google before asking where you were seeing this did not bear fruit.
