He wimped out last year. However, as a player with little to no chance of ever making a dollar playing football, I can understand why he was reluctant to make some of the moves that would have allowed him to play hurt.
We haven't seen a QB without any real pro prospects in a while, and I understand why James would play when he's healthy, take his education, and go start popping kids out with his lady when they graduate and wanting to be able to do that without some constant pain.
I'm behind whoever leads the team, and James Franklin has been a good leader for most of his time here, hopefully he'll bring that back.

James was a 100% correct in his decision to not get the pain killing shot. I don't think anyone in their right mind should have a problem with that decision.
