OK, so bottom line is, all that is out there for information is the Matter interview today...correct. I just find it hard to believe this guy isn't on the top of lists nationwide, yet there seems to be nothing.

I know he is a man of faith, so maybe he hasn't been led to his next opportunity. That would explain the silence.

He's had lots of calls, just not sure if those calls are for a DC or just a DL coach. Not likely that any school that has is more prestigious than Mizzou would offer him a DC position.

So it's probably a question of does he do like Odom did and drop down a level to become a DC, maybe at Mizzou, or be a DL coach at a top level P5 school/NFL.

You think BAMA, LSU, or Georgia will offer him a DC job? I don't. He probably will have to go to a low level P5 school or a mid-major if he wants to be a DC.

Yeah, his best chance at a DC position is here.

I was under the impression that all coaches besides Walters, Ford, and Hill were told to pack their shite

Yeah, I was hearing this in the early stages of the season. Probably just two competitive bros ego checkin' one another.

No, I wouldn't expect to hear any other coaching moves il until the dead period.

So really they could have kissed and made up and Kul could be back in a few weeks.

Here's a cryptic tidbit from Dave Matter's chat today regarding Kuligowski...

I can't speak for Odom, and he hasn't talked publicly about this topic yet, but staff chemistry is important. So is recruiting prowess. I'd venture to say nobody knows Mizzou's staff and their work habits better than Odom. He was Pinkel's director of operations for three years then spent four years on the defensive staff. As the ops director, he had a hand in every decision, every inner working that made the program function. I sense he knows who's good for the staff and who's not.
