Clarkson and Brown

It seems Clarkson has struggled a bit coming down the stretch. Brown is projected as a second round pick, Clarkson a mid first rounder. Clarkson is shooting under 30% from 3 point land. I wonder if he is sliding down the draft board? Clarson is gone. I wonder if Jabari will stay another year? Anyone have any idea what kind of money players make overseas?

You can make damn good money over seas. Millions is possible if you are good enough. It is the little things that add up over there. Teams will provide housing, cars, etc. that don't count as your salary. Most of the athlete salaries are tax free depending on the country.

They can make good money. I was introduced to a former K-State player a few months ago who was home in between European contracts. I got nosey and Google indicated his last contract was $300,000.00/year. Not millions, but a heck of a lot of play a game.

Clarkson and Brown are just trolling us now, lulz. Tweet from Todd Palmer:
"Jabari Brown told me he'd be more inclined to stay at Mizzou if Jordan Clarkson stayed. Clarkson said he'd stay if Bari stays. impasse"
Not funny guys...well I mean it kinda is cuz they both know what they're gonna do (it rhymes with sleeve) but it would be more amusing if they were about to lead us to an NCAA tournament appearance and then jet. That said, if there's any sort of slim chance that they enjoy playing with each other so much that they might want to do it one more year, I'd definitely hope for them to come back...damn you troll faced Jordan Clarkson, damn you!

Frank Haith coached still, zero cares. I will literally consider Missouri basketball to be dead until Haith is gone.

Does that include a 30 win season his first year, you know, the second most wins in school history? That dead too? Sleep all you want. I get so sick of all the internet armchair know it alls, I really do. What's your Plan B? Don't say Bruce Pearl or some unrealistic shite like that please.

With players that weren't his, built on a foundation that wasn't his. If I were to walk into the Miami heat locker room and take over for the rest of the season it would be absolutely astonishing what I could do too.
My plan B would be a basketball coach that has any semblance of success to draw from. That is not Haith. He at best is fricking dumb at worst a scumbag for his time at Miami and on top of that he's a shitty coach.
As well Missouri with the right commitment could lure any number of good respectable coaches here, Pearl included. The school has a cash pipeline flowing in in the form of new SEC money. They can make that commitment.

I have said and still think Haith at least gets to see the JW3/Clark/Jones/Rector class get to their Junior year. That's 2 more years. I have no problems with people being critical of the job Haith has done so far. I think there are legitimate reasons for concern. Even if not concerned, I think it's ok to voice your frustration and lack of willingness to accept failure.
In my book, Haith gets little credit for the 30 win season. I would not have held year 1 against him if it was lousy because it's the nature of inheriting a program. Well, likewise, he doesn't get the credit. The disturbing trend is that the more and more Haith's imprint has been on the program, the worse and worse the team has done. Having said that, I do think he should get until this freshman class are juniors. I just hope I don't have to voice my unwillingness to accept failure for 2 years.

I'm good either way, the program is less existent than your girlfriend to me.
Do you feel better now that I have enlightened you?

With someone else's players and floor generals like English and Denmon.
Edit: I would love to see someone say, with a straight face, that Haith is going to be successful at Mizzou. I believe in 8 seasons he took Miami to the NCAAs 1 time. He is 20-16 in SEC play, he has no offensive scheme, and his teams have never played defense. I personally don't think the guy could coach his way out of a wet paper bag.

You start looking around, making inquiries, and seeing if you can make an improvement. Happens all the time. And why is Pearl unrealistic? Has someone talked to him?

You mean the same players that were a complete dumpster fire under Anderson and were going to leave Mizzou before Haith talked them into staying? nevermind the statistical improvement of said players under Haith vs Anderson.

Blind squirrel meet nut. Haith never had a winning conference record at Miami.
His first year at Mizzou was a deviation from his norm. And again, not his recruits/players. You can drub up whatever bs you want to try to throw, but facts don't lie.
Miami Hurricanes (Atlantic Coast Conference) (2004–2010)
2004–2005 Miami 16–13 7–9 T–6th NIT First Round
2005–2006 Miami 18–16 7–9 T–7th NIT Quarterfinals
2006–2007 Miami 12–20 4–12 12th
2007–2008 Miami 23–11 8–8 T–5th NCAA Second Round
2008–2009 Miami 19–13 7–9 T–7th NIT Second Round
2009–2010 Miami 20–13 4–12 12th
2010–2011 Miami 21–15 6–10 9th NIT Quarterfinals
Miami: 129–101 (.561) 43–69 (.384)
2011–2012 Missouri 30–5 14–4 2nd NCAA Second Round
2012–2013 Missouri 23–11 11–7 T–5th NCAA Second Round
2013–2014 Missouri 21–10 9–9
SEC Conference record 20-16
Missouri: 74–26 (.740) 34–19 (.642)
Total: 203–127 (.615)
