Played their butts off to close that game out. Once Cook returned, they were flawless on blitz pickup and pass pro. The sacks allowed were because of the C/OG exchange. They didn't make any explosive plays but they made forward progress with all of their touches including two scores.

Roberts was in for all but 3 or 4 plays on the final drive. His 3rd down blitz pickup on Cook's long scramble is the most unsung play of the game. He whiffs that block and it's 4th and 27.

I wish the OL was better so that their blocking abilities were not so crucial.

Overall they are allowing fewer TFLs per rushing attempt this year which is why Moore's early down play calling has been questionable IMO.

Green is getting picked on quite a bit. He is a true sophomore so some struggles are to be expected. He is a nasty run blocker though.

Still better than 2nd and 59 which I think is one of the coolest things I ever saw on a TV screen. HOW we got to 2nd & 59 was sad as frick.

The moment it flashed on the TV I texted my friend (a Bama fan) and said "hey we have 2nd and 59!"

2nd and eternity was not a good situation.
Luther has been the source of several negative plays this year. The muffed punt was brutal. He had another throw that hit a DB in the helmet that he made no adjustment to. He comes back for the ball and he draws a penalty at worst. The 3rd down completion before the out route on 4th down during the final drive would have been a 1st down if Burden sticks his foot in the ground. He gave up 2 yds. Fortunately he has the ability to make a difference on the next play.

Any chance Luther is playing himself out of the 1st round?

His season has been very underwhelming for someone so highly touted.

His play has a been a little polarizing but for every mishap he either makes a play to move the chains or he does something to try to impact the play like running Mookie down from behind to get a block to get him in the endzone. He is playing hard for his team.

Manning needs more snaps outside IMO. His catch radius and physicality blocking his position is a lot for a CB to handle. He can take most secondary defenders for a ride when they run stretch or counter to the field.

Roberts was an absolute problem at St. Mary’s. He definitely has a ton of talent.

Watched him play Hillsboro when Hillsboro had a linebacking group of Austin Romain and a kid who is playing now at SEMO as a freshman, and Roberts ran for like 250 yards.

I'd like to see Roberts get more touches. He isn't sudden like Noel but I think he can run through more contact. If he gets an open hole or screen, he's going to be an issue for a secondary defender to get on the ground.
