That's all fine and good. But the secondary gets torched when we don't move the QB off his spot. And we lost all of our ppl who pressure the QB. The youngins will have to step up big time.

We'll get one or two DE in the portal.

The list is getting thin already. We haven't been in the mix for QBs, OL or DL. I did see Marquis Robinson from Auburn is back in. He was coming to Mizzou before he went back to Auburn last year.

That wasn’t Darius, but ya that kid is back too. We missed out on 2 DE already, one went to Arkansas and other to Washington

Wease was a decent get. The nonrated DE from NW is a question mark.

No clue what Drinks game plan is. Not sure he does either. Except, sit quietly as all of the OL and DL talent goes elsewhere

He is trying. He just isn't the master recruiter we all thought he was.

glad to hear it, but I am getting a little tired of the idea that I am supposed to treat each returning player as another recruit joining the team.
Me paying attention to CF is hanging by a thread. Watching a bunch of mercs isn't that interesting.

Schools Collectives are guaranteeing money to transfer linemen. Texas is offering $50,000, SMU is offering $36,000 to every player, Texas Tech is offering $25,000, and the list goes on.

We won’t be to high on the list of lineman until are booster’s start to pony up guaranteed money.

Would you choose Texas or Mizzou if you had no loyalties?

Laurence Bowers and Bud Sasser are on Mizzou’s Collective AMA.

The TX QB chose Purdue and Ryan Walters. No way Purdue is that aggressive with NIL money. Same with Oregon State, they got their QB.

I honestly fear this is Drink not really wanting to give in and change. There is no excuse for not securing an OC by now. He has almost 1.5 million to attract a really good candidate. Yet not even a rumor

Maybe you can send a message to Drinkwitz and let the fans know what's up with being inactive as of right now. I believe he needs an OC, and that OC will probably want to communicate with the HC and make decision on whom to target and so forth. Maybe there won't be many activities until he has his OC. What the hold up? Might be waiting for the bowl games to be played out so he can make contact with coaches and interview them.

Garret Riley is the co- OC at SMU. He worked with Drink at App State. He is a perfect candidate. He makes about 700k. Drink could offer him twice his salary to move to the SEC.

There is no reasonable reason for this not to be done.

Give the HC a call! Maybe he can help you with your concern with the team for next year.

This is a stretch

There are a lot of young coaches that would take the job, but I would rather have a former coach.

Dan Mullen
Bryan Harsin worked together at Boise and Ark State
Kevin Sumlin
Frank Reich

All former successful offensive coaches. All of them weren’t as successful as head coaches. Sumlin might be the only one not getting paid by their former teams, so it could be a little cheaper.

I think Sumlin and Harsin would be the most likely to take the job. I don’t think Sumlin is that big of a stretch

No way in hell Drink brings in a former HC to rival his genius.

Does his new contract give him less control on who he hires? Do contacts have to be approved by the AD?

I don’t the answers, but I the AD has some influence on who he hires. The have control of the money if he needs more

He can back out, he hasn't yet. As long as he doesn't play in that, its all good.

Blake says 1 more year in his system and he is a 1st or second rounder. Right now he is projected as a UDFA. That's got to be worth 1 more year at Mizzou.
