Maybe Drinkwitz didn't have enough schemes for Horn to use for any game. Horn probably will have different schemes than Cook. There maybe a few that would be similar. Two different quarterbacks. Then there shall be an OC hire for next season. That might be another reason to put things on hold. I have no access to what Drinkwitz is going to do for the rest of the season and for who will be the OC for next season and who will be the quarterback for next season too. This season has been a washup. Move on and wait for next season. That is when the team should be much better.

Cook is terrible.

After making the best play he has had all year he ruined it by running up the middle with 19 seconds left in the half.

Lovett was open. He didn’t have anybody on him. From the 19 UT had Safety help that was 12 to 13 yards deep, a CB on Burden, and LB on the inside. Lovett goes to the outside and breaks one tackle he either get’s a TD or he gets out bounds. Instead he takes the QB run for 3 or 4 yards.

I don’t mind keeping the TO. Cook probably gets sacked, throws a pick, or throws a complete pass short and the clock runs out and we don’t get a FG.

That is something a QB with 10 starts is able to recognize. I’ve watched video of NC State and this play works really good. The X receiver doesn’t even really block that much. Run his route toward the safety and the slot is wide open.

Easy to recognize

I was supposed to go to the UT game.

Bailed at last minute cause I knew that Drink is gonna live (and probably kill his coaching career) with Brady Cook.

But to your point, I was at the Auburn game and we had receivers running wide open all game ... but Cook can't read a field, throw to a spot, throw deeper than 35 yards ...

I think the Drink contract extension is an out for the administration in 2024 ... cause he and his love affair with Cook isn't it.
