Crap, that hurts. I was hoping he would be our OC. I hope this doesn't mean Drink will keep calling plays.

Probably trying to get Bryan Harsin. They have worked together and are still friends.

He shouldn’t cost to much for the 1st year or 2. He got around a $15 million payout from Auburn

I'm guessing Casey Woods (SMU OC) would be on the OC candidates list

Maybe Chip Lindsey or Seth Litrell?

Getting Casey back would be huge. but we need an OC that can also coach QBs. I dont think Casey can fill that role.

Woods is a solid recruiter. However, I'm hearing he doesn't actually handle play calling???

he just became the OC I believe at SMU this offseason. Also, a name id love to see but probably wont happen is Brian Johnson. He is QB coach for the Eagles but most of his coaching experience is in college, and coached Dak at Miss St. His whole coaching career has been being a QB coach and OC. Which is exactly what we need.

was he guided gently out the door?
is this a sign that the new OC will be QB coach, or has a specific QB coach in mind?

Hearing Harsin has no interest and Chip Lindsey is heading to become OC at NC

Could it be that he felt he was being passed over for OC and left?

Most I talk to, believe just that.

The spotlight is on Drink.

There is a reason the offense wasn't good and promoting from within isn't a good idea.
