I believed MPJ would come back later this season, but now that this news broke, I think I’m now with the people saying he isn’t coming back.

Blake Harris announces he’s transferring after MPJ visited his doctor yesterday? Yeah, that’s not a coincidence. This program is fricking cursed.

My god dude...

If you let yourself believe that MPJ was coming back then I don't know what to tell you.

Harris is a huge flake apparently. He's talented, but he jumped around several times in HS. There was no reason for him to transfer. All he had to do to take this job was take care of the ball.

Jontay and Tillmon will be great next season. Watson and Pickett coming. Really only a PG away from a very good team. Maybe Martin gets Ramey

Ramey is the piece. Zo needs to be camped out in his front yard.

I doubt Pickett plays much as a freshman. Watson and Santos will get playing time.

I'm more of a football guy. What did you see from Harris that showed regression? Just asking, my 12 yr old is a point guard.

He didn't seem to play much in the 2nd half of the SC game. There were a few camera shots that showed him sitting on the bench. His body language was terrible (slouching & head down) and he appeared very uninterested in what was happening in the game. At the time I thought that wasn't a good sign but didn't think it was anything like this.

If it means anything, I saw Blake Harris and CJ Roberts hitting up the bars around here quite often. I only saw Porter Jr. at one of the clubs here once and he never got a drink. He just said hello to people and then left. Harris and Roberts were going hard tho. Not saying that underage drinking is uncommon here, but it says a lot about where MPJ's mind and focus was compared to Harris.

Agree that MPJ going to the doc yesterday and this happening today can't be a coincidence.

That said, good grief, beating out Geist and Phillips threatens you? Your playing time so far is an insult to you and your family? MU chasing another quality PG recruit threaten you???

I hope this decision is all about playing with MPJ, because if anything else is playing into it, Harris is a huge DIVA without much backbone.

Mentally mostly.
The game didn’t seem to be slowing down for him. It seemed to be speeding up.

He found himself open for about a 16 footer and he wasn’t ready at all for it. Goes up and air balls it against S.C.

Late in the second half, he decides to body up their point guard on the other team’s baseline. Foul.

It may be that he just didn’t want to be here anymore and wasn’t trying anymore.

He’s definitely got some talent. It’s just a question of if he can shake his family and if he can mature.

Harris needs to develop a jump shot over the next year off from playing.

Teams recognized that and changed how they defended against Harris.

He has NBA potential with a solid jumper.

Just in case anyone wants to watch a possible future tiger, Courtney Ramey will be playing on espn3 Saturday at 10:30 am against power house wheeler(ga). He may be rusty because he has only been cleared to play 6 days ago.

I disagree. He may be a good college player who might play a couple years in Europe. He won’t have a cup of coffee in the NBA.

Ramey is a major longshot. Maybe he is more likely know with Harris gone.

A transfer seems more likely right now. Grad, juco or 4 year type.

Or there's a flip-side as in Harris KNOWS MPJ is coming back and ensures he won't be starting and his PT will drop.....possible.
