2011-2013 Mizzou recruited only 3 RBs, yes 3. 1 now plays defense, the other two are Steward and Hansbrough.
2011-2013 Mizzou recruited 4 WRs and got 1 transfer. DGB, kicked off the team, Leftwich, Darius White(transfer), Hannah NR, J'Mon Moore.
In that same time frame we recruited 4 QBs.
And we wonder why we have issues on offense

I don't think the move to the SEC has helped MU. A lot of the skill players in the St Louis, KC area want to play more games closer to home. MU used to actually recruit Texas and got some decent guys that TX and OU passed up. Now Nebraska, OU, OSU, etc.. are pulling guys out of MO. Losing the Border war has hurt as well.

What offensive players have those schools pulled out of Missouri the last 3-4 years that Mizzou targeted. I can think of guys that Mizzou recruited on offense that have gone to BAMA, Oregon, & maybe northwestern.
Finally this year Mizzou is going back to Texas to pull a few players.

I was curious a while back and looked at the rosters for Nebraska and Iowa. Iowa has 5 Missouri kids. 4 from St. Lou area, one from KC.
Nebraska also has 5 Missouri kids...all from the KC area.
Not sure what that tells me

What? We have recruited basically the same type of class in either conference. It certainly hasn't hurt us in state.
Any losses in Texas we've made up for in Georgia/Florida.
The recruiting rankings may not show it, but imo our last class was our best ever under Pinkel.

Sure would have been nice if Ofodile and Hentges wanted to play closer to home.
