I realize it was just a matter of hours, but what is the rule with approaching committed players?

There is no rule. Verbal commitments don't mean shite.

Yea I mean this happens everyday in football.

Committed players go on OFFICIAL visits to other schools all the time.

You're just not allowed to talk to signed players, and it's October so....

Word on the street is Minnesota basically stopped recruiting him once they got a verbal, didn't even go watch him play

Kobe Brown is on a visit binge. He’s starting an official to Mizzou today. His Twitter looks like this is the 3rd visit to a school over the last week.

Didn't they hire his former HS coach as an assistant coach? Maybe they thought that relationship was enough to hold him there.

Pitino hired a former Sunrise Christian coach. That’s the prep school Jackson is attending for the first time this season. He has never coached Jackson

Mizzou won.
Pickett and Mark Smith led the way.
Iowa’s best guard didn’t play

Was there an article on the game or a box score somewhere?

Just saw a couple tweets from the Iowa side yesterday. Nobody on Mizzou is saying anything

Think the STL has two top 50 players coming out of the 2020 class. Man would love to get at least one of them.

It might be camera angle but his damn head is above the rim and his vertical is a good foot better than the defender.

He's athletic, but he is a little raw, plus he has a sweet jumper.
