All this Springfield talk is interesting, except Pinkel was in Springfield today. Is there a chance the private plane to Springfield was just Pinkel?

Per someone on PM, WSU fans saying Marshall is meeting with someone connected to Mizzou (don't know if that means Alden or a third party on our behalf) in a suite right now at Kauffman stadium (WSU & Mizzou are playing there tonight).

That's what I call fate.

Feeling more and more upbeat that we pull this off and get Marshall.

Why would Pinkel meet with Gregg?

The tracking isn't as fun if it's just Pinkel.

I thought it was, but Pinkel fricked it up.

The flight from Wichita is still real.

It looks like we're making a run at him. His agent's language has markedly changed. Will we get him? I'd still say it's a long shot, but we're at least gonna give it the old college try.

And in new news, Tim Floyd has been tied to the job opening. I'd be ok with this, I think.

I thought I read that Alden was supposed to go with pinkel to Springfield but ended up not going. But I thought that was yesterday, not today. Interdasting. But tonight at Kaufman would make some sense...

MY guess is he turns out to be too expensive, but we shall see. People are talking, gears are moving.

At that point, I think I'd just as soon go KA. Probably even just as soon go Howland. Floyd really hasn't done anything remarkable if you look at it.

Pinkel in Springfield today was real news not TB troll news.

This may be a dumb question, but if people are all so sold on Fuller, why wouldn't we just give the job to Fuller?

I realize he's young and has no coaching experience save the Haith suspension, but it's he's a young stud, why not take the shot? At least we know we can trust him based on his past track record and that he's not Quin.

The KA/fuller combo just seems right. Let Kim season Fuller a bit, get a well deserved pay off, and then hand the reins to Fuller. I'd like that a lot more than Floyd

Fuller Has worked under some good coaches, he was buddies with the last great XO guy we had at Mizzou, Ernie Nestor.

Literally everyone is afraid of losing him.

If I'm giving I'm giving someone their first Div1 job, I'd rather guy with the guy on staff that I know than the guy I've passed on three times.

It depends on how Fuller feels about it. I don't want to lose him unless it's to a home run hire like Marshall. And even then we are going to lose some cruits
