I think he made 120-150k at CMU. I would guess closer to 100k at PSU.

The most info I could find had 12 coaches from three or four Kansas schools totaling $1.1M in salaries. It was Emporia St., Pitt St and some other regional schools. So $100ish is pretty safe. Especially because the team isn't that good right now.

I poked around a bit and found Coach Muff's salary for, I think, 2014. It was $83K then.

So, I think the $100K is probably pretty close for Kim.

A full time assistant at say Truman State will make like social worker money. $35kish.

I think I could force myself to accept that salary.

You could do reasonably well on some of those salaries.

It's not terrible, just thought it would be more. Not really working an academic calendar either as recruiting is a full time job.

He made enough here to set himself up quite comfortably for life as long as he manages it reasonably well.

This needs its own thread.

Well, prior to coaching basketball, one would assume he may have been a diver.

I would have to take a cut in pay. My guess is Kim is doing $200K plus at Pitt St.

No offense folks, but it is beyond me the ongoing posts and fascination with this particular thread topic. Oh well perhaps that's just me.

Can't see it's fascination. The big dog coaches' D-I salaries have been written on every website, in the media, and on the inside of Port-a-potty doors. Just was curious what the D-II guys get.
