Former Missouri football star Aldon Smith has passed away at the age of 36 ????
Smith was named the 2009 Big 12 Freshman of the Year and earned second-team All-Big 12 honors... He finished his Missouri career with 79 total tackles, 23 TFLs, and 14.5 sacks

Dominant on the field, dominated by substance off of it. Hope he's back on the field, wherever he is.

I dont think drugs were that big of an issue for him compared to his mental issues. Even when Aldon was clean, his demons were just insane.

Looking through the 2026 roster, I noticed there's no #85 listed. It would be nice if they left that number open this year. Maybe each week give it to a player who has earned it for doing something exceptional. Let players wear it like a badge of honor.
