The Desir twins dominated snaps at DE at FSU. Weird tho, both of them are also in the portal.

If Early thinks he is a take, it is hard to argue against it. Early recruited him as a HS player before he ended up at Hutchison. His issue has been health

12 tackles with health issues is a depth piece at best.

Lucky for him he knows Early.

Do you think Early is taking him as a favor?

Do you think 12 tackles and health issues is a good gamble?

If so, we can agree to disagree

Aren't player limits gone? If so, and if the boosters don't mind paying the extra, then picking up players for cheap with high upside seems worth it.
As long as we don't skimp on the needs.

I don’t think Early is giving him a spot because they know each other. Beyond that, I don’t know anything about the kid.

He's an SEC ready body at 6'6 250. He played 120ish snaps and had a 76 rush defense grade per PFF last year. He has an entire offseason to work on Early's technique. If he can come in and spell Smith at the Joker, its a win IMO. His JUCO tape showed a great first step before 2 ACL tears. If he regains it, this could be a steal, much like Zion Young was.

The only one I've heard as a real possibility is the DT from Hazelwood East, Tionne Gray

Bama, Ohio State, Miami and Texas Tech seem to be in the lead for Wilson. He will get $1 to $1.5 million which we could probably match if he showed that he wanted to stay. The problem is its hard to rally the donor troops when he cuts off contact with Mizzou.

Could? Yes, but i think its highly unlikely. The sacks were great but he didn't make enough plays behind the line and tackles overall vs the run to get the money he is reportedly asking for. Double digit TFLs is the expectation at his position. He came close but shedding blocks vs the run wasn't something he excelled at. Smith had 4 fewer TFLs and 7 fewer tackles on far fewer reps. Him leaving isnt good for the team but neither is overpaying for him.
