D. Lovett has Mizzou in the mix with 5 other schools and the 5 other schools are all blue bloods. You can guess what Mizzou chances are. Just because his qb committed to Mizzou means nothing. We have been through that before a few years ago when ESL qb(Estes) committed to Mizzou and we thought that would help us get their 5* wr who ended up at Miami. Macon said that he's working on both of his wrs and that might help.

I mean, I’d say it means something. More than nothing for sure. I’ve heard we have a legitimate chance

ETA: Oregon is not a blue blood. They are new money

2-3 weeks ago I was hearing big things about Lovett and mizzou. Its really cooled off the last week or 2, hopefully bc of the virus and not the interest. I had also heard he wants to play with the other ESTL WR in college. Good part if thats true, the kid sounds like a lock for mizzou.

Shemar Pearl(JUCO) former Mizzou commit is announcing in June and Mizzou is in the final 3 and looks like the favorite with SC pushing hard. This kid had an impressive offer list out of high school.

I get that Top 8 and Top 5 lists don't mean a lot and ultimately you only sign a small fraction of those guys, but it's encouraging to see us continually making the lists with elite programs. Seems like we're getting much more traction than previous years.

Arvell Ferguson is on Garden City CC also. He was a Missouri commitment also. I wonder what he is doing?

This year we should be able to find players that have been overlooked and under the radar.

Rivals canceled all camps for 2020 and Armour Under has postponed their camps. A lot of recruiting camps have been canceled and in-person recruiting has been suspended until at least 6/30.

This should be a tough year evaluating recruits . Hopefully Drink is a type of coach that can evaluate players on film better than most and not rely as much on camps and combines like other coaches.

I look forward to his recruits this year

One thing Drinkwitz need to evaluate the players he have at Mizzou. That is the key to know what he needs to get for ones that not what he wanted or have that is missing or not enough of the kinds of players he wants/needs. Better yet coach the players what he have first for this year and he will know what he will need for next year. Ii will be hard for him to do that without coaching a season.
