Not sure we are recruiting Okpala that hard. Havent really heard anything about him.

It seems at 250 he is a little light at his height to be a SDE. He may be 6’7”, but unless he is quick off the snap he will need to gain weight to get through blocks from a Tackle and/or a TE.
He seems like another Agbasimere. Both have plenty of upside, but have to work hard to get there.
Does anyone know if he has that quick burst off the snap?
It seems like he has the size to be a good TE if he has the hands.

I honestly don’t know much about him because I didn’t think we were really after him. Maybe I’m wrong and his recruitment has just been super quiet?

He isnt quick off the snap, but he is also trying to unwind a lot of legs. 2 to 3 years in the weight room and he could be pretty imposing. I hate to write this and I know some of you will disagree, but he seems like the type of kid Kul would have maximized.

I want Chester Graves. He’s the type of recruit that would instantly make the pass defense much better.
Relying on 3 star recruits that are freshmen and sophomores is a definite way to struggle. And I think Jeffcoat, Turner, and Hansford have the type of athleticism to be really good. Just not this early in their college careers.

Chester Graves seems to be high on Bama, Miami and still Ole Miss. He's the #1 JUCO player and Mizzou hasn't offered him yet.

One of the many reasons I hope Mizzou gets this guy. I think he broke my ribs just watching that hit.
