He was 100% committing to Mizzou. Now he's not, so yes...I'd say our chances just fell significantly.
I bet he goes to Texas now. frick, recruiting sucks. I know these coaches are well paid but I don't envy them one bit having to deal with these kids. It's got to be maddening.
We have one kid who has committed to two different staffs. We have another kid who was going to commit to us now will probably end up at a school not even in his top 2.

I’m not worried about recruiting until December and February signing periods. Illinois isn’t going to be any good, so I’m not worried about them earlier.

Talking season is over and camp starts tomorrow. The most important thing the staff can do at this point is win games.

If he was 100% committing to Mizzou why is he opening up his recruitment again after the crazy stuff at OSU. Why don't he just go ahead and commit to Mizzou now or not say anything and commit to us on the 7th when he said that he would commit to us or OSU.

A thought occurred to me. Maybe Washington wasn’t a fan of meyer and is waiting to see if stoops or someone else gets the HC job after meyer is fired.

This is why I thought that he was all in for OSU. Now he is talking about opening up his recruitment again. This was right before the OSU ordeal.

I mean, if Mizzou were his #2, and he was solid, chances are he would have committed to the tigers.
Realistically, he wasn’t that high on Mizzou.

Love the commit! Buford tends to think that we have a good chance with Washington, Boone, Ira Henry and Jalani Williams or a combination of them. I would take Williams in a minute.

Thanks for posting Zou. It’s bittersweet that he chose ku but still fun to watch. It does remind me of how i felt when elliot screwed us and picked osu.
