Newman is still listed on PM as coming.

Also saw Erik Swenson has been offered and Heuple and Joe Jon are his recruiters.

I believe Kobe Jobes and Keyshon camp will be on campus starting tomorrow.

That's two 4* DTs and a little beef for the middle of our DL.

#Mizzo OL Michael Fairchild confirms to me that he left the team to focus on school. Fairchild signed with Missouri in the 2014 class.

I will be announcing at 5 tomorrow

Is this an Elliott moment announcing that his announcement is still a valid announcement? Or is he having an announcement because his announcement wasn't a legitimate announcement? Kids these frickin' days. Just shut up an play. I kid. Kind of.

Dowdell has flipped his OV to Mizzou this weekend.

I think we'll probably land him.

Hopefully Odie has a few surprises left before signing day...... So far this recruiting class is lagging behind, most of the SEC.

It should be expected I guess, with a 1st year rookie HC.

I would blame it more on the late start and Pinkel not being able to recruit anymore once he announced his resignation back in October. It really put us in a hole, and only the last 4 seeks has Odom been able to get out recruiting. I think if we can finish with a combo of one of the 4* DTs, 4* OL, and 4*/JUCO RB, plus if we can get Black or another good WR, then that's a good class overall.

Plus, its not like GP was ever pulling in high ranked classes, they were consistently in the bottom half of the conference, hard to expect Odom to change that in his 1 month on the job.

Chris Black (WR, BAMA grad xfer) is deciding between Mizzou, USCe, and Florida

Josh Jacobs, RB from Tulsa, apparently likes us best, but OU just offer. LINK

London Iakopo has decommitted from AZ. Safety out of Long Beach CC. Apparently he has or will OV at Mizzou.
LINK
Greg Brown is working on him

So true. Other than last year's class he never got a top 20 class(maybe in 07 or so), so we can't blame the new coach for this recruiting class. It's not terrible considering the available area talent this year but we definitely need OL help. With Printz and Fairchild gone, we've got 2 more spots with probably more to come.

Only a few days to go and then its truly Odom's responsibility to recruit better.

Available area talent this year - no joke. Just skimmed through the Post Dispatch's Super 30. Did not recognize 2/3s of the names. I would say there may only be 6-7 serious D-1 recruits on the list, and that may be stretching it.

looks like 247 has 88% prediction for 4* florida DT Keshon Camp committing to us. He visits this weekend. All predictions changed this week, so I'm guessing they are hearing good news for us.

That might now change with Wilson heading to Eagles

Probably ranked below Vanderbilt. Odom has a good reputation recruiting from many high school coaches, so in due time I think he can succeed.

Screw this year, nothing is going smoothly. Can't wait to see what the staff does in 2016. More available talent, and I'm betting a better year on the field.
