Frantz is still taking visits to ku and ksu. Dougherty was about the only other visitor with an offer. I think we invited guys we wanted to get a better look at, PM said several got asked to come back for the summer camps.

Does anyone know what the girlfriend of Gabe Megginson's connection is to Mizzou? Her twitter has random Mizzou RTs mixed in with Gabe's recruiting info. Could this be a good sign for the good guys?

Yeah, I think this Cam kid is a real diamond in the rough. He looks great on film. Pinkel and the coaches did a great job with this one.

This cam kid is a big Mizzou fan. I think he might have sought out Mizzou more than Mizzou finding him.

I think generally Pinkel goes to his scouts and HS coaches he trusts and gets lists of players from them.

You're probably right. Can't speak for football, but I know in baseball, it's not unusual for someone in the program to call a coach here that they trust and ask them if they have anyone they should be checking out. The high school coach then tells him either "Yes" or "No, but you should be looking at a kid at school X".

Kalif Jackson is a big receiver that we were one of the first to offer. Seems to fit our style. The interesting part is it appears he is friends with Spencer Williams and Marvin Zander's little bro (Micah). Maybe enough of a connection to give us a good shot.

So he's from Desmet? Honestly don't think it takes much of a scouting job to figure this one out, not saying it's a "bad" job by the staff but you don't need to be a rocket surgeon to see this kid's got it.
