Chase Abbington was rated a 90 by 247 today. That rating made our class ranking jump from 51 to 35.

Seems like Pinkel and staff are going after some big guns in 2015. It's good to see Mizzou in the mix for some high profile players. I'm so sick of people saying Mizzou had a "nice" year and start saying Mizzou is a Hell of a program.

I think almost every year he starts off by offering 4 and 5 star players. The difference is, I think this year we actually have a legitimate shot at a good handful of them.

I have no idea ultimately. Obviously, he was offered in both. I haven't read where he's talked about it or decided so I suppose it's all speculation.

MU has offered in both FB and BB. Most schools have told him he can play both. One of the OK schools, I think OU, has offered in BB only so far. He is good enough to play either in college, but FB is probably where he can make money as a pro.

Here's a free article on 247 about TE Hentges recent visit to Mizzou. We're still 'in the mix', but it sounds like he has a lot of interest in other big name schools. Not getting my hopes up on landing this kid.

Lost out on two top 10 in state players. The Davis twins committed to Nebraska. Apparently an uncle played there.
Blue Springs hasn't been a friend of the University in nearly a decade. For being one of the bigger football schools in the state, according to Rivals, the last commitment we got from there was Baston in 2005. In the meantime, 2 to Nebraska this year, 3 to KSU last year, a couple to kU and another to OU since the last Mizzou commit. I know we probably didn't go after all those kids, but unless I'm wrong, Blue Springs is one of the major players in football on that side of the state, aren't they?

Their coach was born in MO, but played QB at (the other) KU. I understand he never has anything positive to say about Mizzou to the kids he coaches

Hate to lose the Davis twins but feel as if it were expected. Most focus is on Lock and Ofodile though and I like our chances with them and also throw Strong in that group.

Have we ever pulled anybody out of Helias? I can't remember anybody ever going D1 let alone Mizzou out of there.
Also, why are Jackass guys promoting Mizzou. I is confused
