Did he commit? No, it didn't work. All that is to get an emotional response and every day that goes by makes it more and more irrelevant.

I remember reading a story about a recruit who visited a school that did the same thing and when he visited Mizzou there was 1 person standing on the corner with a sign that read "Come to Mizzou, you are trueson.". He knew then, he was coming to Mizzou.
