Peirson's mom didn't even live in ESL. She lived in Cahokia and his dad went to the media with it because he was mad that the coach had lured him to ESL with what he claimed was shoes and clothes.

Yeah, only point was this pre-exists the Sunkett days.

A few Nile Sykes predictions changing from Mizzou to Illinois. Again as we see you cannot always trust them. Could be just pure speculation since Mizzou has a few LBs in this class and a 4* LB in last years class.

Sykes looks like a thumper.

3 star DB Tony Fields from Godby HS IN Tallahasse taking OV TO Mizzou 11/29.
Godby is a powerhouse.

You are right about Godby. 5 others in their SR class, two are committed to FSU.
Wingo better take notice. This could be Wingo's spot that Fields is interviewing for.

Article on Rivals says 4* Louisiana RB Darrell Williams will visit Mizzou

Damn. Wish we had places for all these guys!
Anything new news on Wingo? I thought we'd hear something early this week. He better not wait too long!

Would love to have him but it would be kinda messed up if Markel wanted to come back to Mizzou and we said we can't take another RB in this class and then go on to take a RB from Louisiana.

Yeah seems strange but maybe our coaching staff knew something we all dont. Who knows

The only ways that would make sense is if 1)they don't think Markel will qualify; and 2)they're interested in opening recruiting roads into Louisiana.
The Markel decision could also have been a statement by the coaches - Missouri is not a backup plan, and if you string us along you could well find yourself without a place here. We will not wait to fill up our class with kids we think will do well here, and offers are not open-ended. Not saying that's the case, but it is a message kids in St. Louis should probably get.

FWIW, I saw in the comment section of an article on Rock M Nation that Wingo may announce this upcoming Sunday where he's going.

Just noticed, Williams is a SunDevil commit. Hmmm.. We do pretty well with SunDevil commits.
Semo, spot on.
There also has been a shift away from transfers too. In prior years, we accepted guys like David Richard and Munir Prince. But I've heard guys like Justin McCay, Keeston Terry and even Ronnie Wingo, the answer was "no".

Yeah, another poster said he would be a Tiger this weekend. Great news, but I'm almost afraid to believe that.
