What's everyone's thoughts on Harrison. Not so much talent wise. I think we'd all agree from that standpoint, we'd all love to get him to flip. But we're starting to run low on spots. Would you commit one of those spots to a kid who may very well go the route of the MLB if drafted high enough. Or do you use that spot for a kid that doesn't have those issues. If we had a ton of spots left, I'd love for him to flip, no question. With limited spots, not sure what to think.

How many WRs have we taken? Seems high to me but maybe that's just my perception.

A kid like, oh, Jameis Winston for example?

I'd see where he's projected to go in the MLB draft and take it from there.

Question - have we ever had a 2 sport athlete that played both football and baseball?

Everyone seems to think Harrison will get drafted in the top 3-4 rounds which will probably be high enough for him to sign.

I thought the same thing Semo till I looked him up. Rated top 50 by a couple sites.

If he's good enough to possibly be drafted, he's more than good enough to get a full ride playing baseball (assuming he wants to play both). Maybe we could get him as a preferred walk-on?

Baseball rarely if ever offers full rides. Not saying it doesn't happen, but it's rare and it's even rarer for a freshman. Might earn it as time goes by. Baseball just doesn't have the number of scholarships to give because of prop whatever.

This article might explain it. I haven't read it but by skimming it I think either Title IX has something to do with it or the NCAA is just a bunch of tards.

It's Title IX. Couldn't remember the number.

Speaking of which, how cool is it that he helps coach the softball team?

Word is still that it will be Mizzou for Wingo.

SLUH is playing a game right now. Losing 28-0 to CBC.

My guess is no commitment tonight. Just a guess though.
