If I was a coach who was recruiting against Mizzou, I would send recruits a link to this site so they could read all of the negative crap about the coaches, the program, recruiting failures, etc. I wouldn't need to say anything negative myself because the posters here love to do it. Why don't we all start speaking positively about the program, recruiting, etc. so kids actually want to come to Mizzou?
Prospects may actually read these board posts when forming an opinion about the school!

I'm guessing you don't read forums of other schools, do you?

I don't think our board is all that negative compared to others. We look for and appreciate a lot of the positives. But I don't care if you're Alabama, there are always things that can be improved upon or that raise concerns. I don't think it's a bad thing to discuss those things as well. Just because there are a lot of things that need fixing according to some doesn't mean the program and university doesn't have our full support, along with any commits.

Yep go to any SEC schools free board and it can be pretty brutal. If I was a recruit, I wouldn't look at any teams boards during my process.

I will always support the coaches and players. And I'm pleased with every young man that wants to wear black and gold. I've thought before that sometimes we get a little harsh, but like Cheshire said, this is a free board, and people hide behind the anonymity to say things they'd never actually say in person. Hopefully, recruits are smart enough to know this, and steered by their coaches away from reading open message boards.
On another note, for those of you on twitter, have you noticed how our recruits are talking to each other, and recruiting for us? It's really great to see. Paul Adams, the OL from Tennessee, is one to follow if you are on twitter - his attitude reminds me a little of Spoon. He's always talking, yapping, cracking jokes - and is a True Son through and through.

You really do need to run for office.

No. I could never be a politician, I couldn't sacrifice my principles that much. Now, I could probably be a diplomat though.

That works in the Big 12, Pac 12, ACC, and the Big 10. But it DOES NOT work in the SEC. WE ARE IN THE SEC !!

I know it might be too early to start a 2015 thread but...... 2015 WR Alex Ofodile was offered by UK tonight.... He is projected as a top prospect from the state of Missouri and according to Rivals Missouri has not offered yet.
Here is his Rivals:

Yeah, they need to get on that kid. I'm sure Andy Hill is on top of it.

I sure hope so. Would have liked to have been his first SEC offer.

I agree with the first sec offer.
Josh Augusta is still not on campus. Rumor is he has not qualified however nothing concrete yet just rumors

Been hearing way too much of that. Hope this time it is just smoke and no fire.

Well, that just sucks. We need him. Couldn't he be taking summer classes to qualify?
So he ends up at Hutchinson along with Abbingdon?

It kills me that they don't offer obvious top in state prospects way early... makes no sense that another state beats you to it.

I agree mogray. I just don't get why they wouldn't offer if they will later, esp at a position of need, now UK beat us to it. I guess we do what we do but a little frustrating to see but especially with how this years in state recruiting is going.
