Sometimes I question why I invest as much emotional capital in such a shitty program.

I am nice!! But I also call things like I see them. The kid will be one of the crowd at tosu - he would have been universally beloved at Mizzou. His choice. And he'll have to live with it.

I'm very nice - until you give me a reason not to be. Then...

So in summary:

Mizzou had the smallest class of any SEC school with 20. Tied for 84th as far as class size goes for whatever that's worth.

Rivals

49 overall; 28 by average stars
14 in the SEC; 11 by average stars.

ESPN

37 overall (Couldn't find average stars)
13 in the SEC

Scout

37 overall; 35 by average stars
13 in the SEC; 12 by average star

247
2nd numbers are composite I believe

33/38 overall; 37/37 by average stars
12/14 in the SEC; 13/14 by average stars

CSS sports station on Comcast in Memphis is based out of Atlanta. I was watching their SEC signing day show and they had Missouri ranked 5th in the SEC East. Above Vandy and Kentucky. Maybe Kentucky but Vandy had some good players sign. They said Vandy's 3 star recruits were not nearly as good as our 3 star recruits.

Take it for what it is worth

Cornell Ford is earning his money recruiting wise. He signed 6 of 7 he recruited and only missed on EE.

Man, what a dig on Mizzou plain and simple. Run your alma mater through the toilet instilling false hope knowing all along it was going to be CUM over Mizzou. I think they knew after the visit.

Here's the pattern for taking a dig, step 1. Take your son to an official visit at the last minute that just happens to be your old school. Instill false hope by going completely quiet afterwards. Take full advantage of twitter, Dad kicks out a video, still nothing to put your finger on, hold your old school and it's fans and coaches in suspense and then drop the bomb. What a piece of work. All in the name of publicity.

All they had to do was make an announcement that he was still going to CUM university and that would have been the end of it. Nah, instead they hold a scholly hostage till the last second. What a way to treat your old alma mater. As a responsible parent, he should of had enough respect for Mizzou, it's fans and coaches to tell his son he needed to decide before NSD so that Mizzou could have a chance to offer someone else with that scholly.

If he ever showed at a game at Columbia and I was there, I'd boo his arse out of the stadium. Sounds classless I know, but I'm a classless peice of shite when it comes to people like them doing classless shite like they pulled on Mizzou.

OK, I'm almost done.

I hope the NCAA finds violations at tOSU and they sanction the hell of'em. Thats what I want for christmas dammit. UM sucks a big turd.

Singleton?? I thought he was a 4* on one of the services! I'm starting to like the fact that Pinkel says he never, ever looks at recruiting rankings or stars.

Apparently, the Alex Collins saga continues - no LOI signed yet!

And UR - why are you a Hawaii fan tonight?
