Postponing his visit because of a family situation. December 7-9 will be a big visit weekend.

To clarify, Mizzou is still his top school. He'll visit those schools in the reverse order you have listed with Mizzou being the last visit.

Looks like we just offered JUCO DT Marquel Combs
This would be a great addition for us. Our competition for him seems to be kU, KSU, and Cal.
This quote scares me though.

If we just offered him though, we must not think this is an issue right?

This quote scares me though.

Combs claims 40 scholarship offers, but can't attend any SEC school because the conference is petrified by online math courses and will not accept them.

Travis Jorgenson decommited.... meh

Wtf? I thought that kid was black and gold through and through...

Not just that, but he doesn't exactly have a huge offer list. Maybe he likes the idea of being the big fish in a little pond instead of competing for a spot at a higher level.

Not good timing on his part. Would love to keep the local kids especialy the top 150 kids. But he's kind of playing a dangerous game with this decommit. Being so close to the early signing period, if another top prospect comes along Jorgenson takes the chance of Mizzou going with another recruit. It's not like were hurting at the point guard position. Somebody's got into his head I think.
The Local BB recruiting nut over at PM says this was not a mutual decission. Mizzou still wants him. But he was wanting to explore his options and visit other schools. Teenagers.....
Dude what are you thinking?

An relating to the Jorgenson news, I just read that they do not expect Mizzou to slow thier recruiting for 2013.
Here are some names they have thrown out there that are on the radar....
Keanau Post and Jamal Jones both JUCO transfers.
Another was Gavin Shilling.
They said all these guys would'nt probably sign until Spring though.
Shilling would be my pick of the three. PF, 6'9" 205 lbs. We could have a forest running down the court every weekend.

Not great news, always like having a kid like him on the squad, but this isn't a massive loss either.

Not worried, we can upgrade at the position now. As many Guards as we were in on, I am not worried about finding someone better.

I agree. You have to be concerned with this kids mindset now. If he holds off till spring to sign, will he even be looking at Mizzou then? I think it sheads light on his maturity level and now have to ask if this is the type of player you want on your team. His list of offers are not impressive.
I think Mizzou should let him know they are pulling his offer now and are looking for another prospect. I think it would be a mistake to let this kid drive your last scholly into the ground. That would be a big loss.

If he is waiting until spring to sign, then its time to move on. Plenty of high level talent that we put to the side because of no more schollys that we could spark interests with again.

Kid is a self-described lifelong kU fan.

Had trouble linking to the partial from PowerMizzou. It's an old story quoted from jayhawkSlant. So it is admittedly not "from the horse's mouth."
Search "Travis Jorgenson KU" on the Google. Shoul be on first page from PowerMizzou.
