After yesterday, we need both Petrino and HUD. Play calling sucked no matter who did it. When I watch TR, it is like watching a slo mo replay but in real time.
On the other side, the sad thing is, if Denico doesn't go up the middle and plays with defensive end fundamentals by containing the outside, it would still have been a closer game. The first time he didn't contain, they should have sat his arse on the bench and let CJ and PS play. He let them outside on 9 out of 10 plays.

Petrino can't coach defense, recruit, or stay at a program for more than 5 years. I'd much rather have Hud personally.

Naw we're gonna get what we want now. We're gonna suck and Stricklin will be forced to do something about.
I don't want to suck. I want a competent OC.

Petrino would ball out for three seasons then we would get to hire another good coach. Ideal situation.

Y'all aren't gonna do a damn thing unless Mullen leaves on his own, but I'm sure y'all know that.

Yeah, it's basically the same as Nutt in 2010 job wise. He'll either have to go elsewhere or flame out

So can we fire Les mid-season and get someone competent?
How does this work?
Cause at this point I'm not going to spend another fricking dime to watch this shite show.
Anyone wanna buy season tickets off me?

Sell them to Political Hack. I'm sure he'd appreciate it since he can't get them himself.

I don't care about your opinion.

Absolutely. Granted that they're not shitty seats you didn't spend any money on in the first place...

I have a random statement. Who else has checked Requeim's profile lately? His last post said that this one will be special, and his new sig is haunting. I've brought this up a couple of times recently and no one has responded. It's kind of creepy.
You gotta figure he has an alter on here right now...

I texted him a while back asking him when he was coming back, and he sent me that picture.

He must be planning something spectacular.

Our offense needs help... immediately.
Having said that. OSU was held to 20 pts last year... by Kansas... in heavy rain... in a game that was delayed twice by lightning. Other than that, you have to go back to the 2009 season to find a game where they were held to under 21 pts.
We obviously did not do enough to prep the kids for their diamond formation, but you have to give a lot of credit to the work that Collins and staff did to get those guys ready for the game. I feel really good about what we can do on that side of the ball.
Is this going to be 2007 all over again? Is Les Mullen's McCorvey?
We had receivers that their secondary "lost" and the QBs just didn't find them. This was particularly true for backs coming out of the backfield. We lost easy TDs on a couple of plays. One time? OK. We didn't find him. But why you wouldn't come back with that play again later and see if they lose him again is beyond me.
OSU found weakness and exploited it. We exposed weakness and didn't exploit it.

Mullen's loyalty to Russell and Perkins is beyond frustrating.
This. Although Perkins had some good runs..he just isn't an every down back.
Dak and Robinson moved the ball better. I say run Dak with both Perk and Robinson in the backfield and do some misdirection..3 running threats and open up the play action pass.
