Played tons better tonite but, a few things will never change....
water is wet
Shumpert still fumbles
Mullen runs a 90 lbs RB up the middle
Mullen goes way too conservative with lead in 2nd half
Mullen calls stupid arse fake punts
Feel free to add to this list.

Fitz looked like a real sec qb. Holloway up the middle really rustles my Jimmies. I think Mullens likea to troll us
The dline looked nasty!

There are reasons, slows down the rush on punts as well as keeping the D honest in punting situations, both in the present and future, not a big fan of it but I get the thought process.

This. It's like people didn't notice we had multiple punts almost blocked.
Also, holy shite, the one that was closest to getting blocked got launched like 80 yards of Cooke's foot. Think he was trying to make sure the ball punched through that defender.

I understand there are reasons to do it but, there are times you do it also. To me, that wasn't the right time. JMO.

It may have been the right time but it was poorly executed. That being said, I loved what I saw from Dan last night. Including the goal line 4th down. Even though we came away with nothing I like how he coached last night

Had it been successful it may have helped slow down the rush at LSU, right now it is just comic relief for them.

Why is nobody talking about the obvious huge takeaway from Saturday? Jamal Peters is a freaking beast at corner. Being physical enough to play right on the line of scrimmage and athletic enough to show off the ball skills he did is incredible. Kid is going to be special, if he isn't already.
Also, Cooke may very well be the best punter in the league. Averaged 50 yards with the big boot of 68, with 3 inside the 20. Woof.

Yep, Peters has been very impressive so far. We will see how he does against some stronger opponents in the upcoming weeks. Looks like the real deal though!

Another obvious takeaway is that Jamoral Graham is fricking terrible. As much as Peters should be playing, Graham shouldn't be playing.
I see this as just as big of a problem as our running back situation, if not worse. The more he plays the more big plays he is going to give up.

He looks lost out there so often. I swear it's like he decides the ball isn't coming his way, forgets about the WR, then has an oh shite moment when the QB turns his head toward him.
Talking smack and waving his finger at the SC sideline after he got beat, and the QB happened to overthrow the WR, was pitiful. All I could do was shake my head.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who has seen this. He sucked when he played on the offensive side of the ball and sucks worse on the defensive side.

Now that you say this I totally forgot to add it to my "water is wet" posts from Saturday. It was one of the main reasons I posted that.
He is frickING HORRIBLE. No matter what Dan puts him doing (punt returns, defense, kick returns) he fricks it up.

He caught a punt last year.
On punt coverage.

I don't mind Holloway up the middle. The only problem is we seem to have it backwards. Let the bigger backs pound the middle then get Holloway in as a change of pace. We pound Holloway and randomly stick a guy 50 pounds heavier to be the change of pace.

What colour jerseys are we gonna wear Vs. LSU, since they are wearing yellow ones?

I'd like to see maroon helmet, white jersey, and gray pants. Would just be different.

Wore those @ ArKansas, last year.
