I know a lot will not be happy with our pairing but let’s get her done
We start at 12 on Friday against southern University.
Layout :
1. Mississippi State
4. Southern U
2. University of Miami
3. Central Michigan
Paired with the Stanford Regional
1. Stanford
4. Sacramento State
2. Fresno State
3. UC Santa Barbara
Game 1 win for state so we advance to play the winner of CMU or Miami. Close one but timely hitting gets it done
Game 2 state advances to the regional championship with a win over CMU. Play the winner of the CMU and Miami game tonight at 8
Game 3 WE ARE GOING TO THE SUPERSSSSSS

Also worth nothing, Central Michigan is no joke. They are on an 18 game win streak and have 46 wins

I like our pairing for the Super tbh. I think Stanford is overrated.

I don’t like our pairing. Stanford doesn’t have a “bad loss”. They have a really good squad and their schedule reflects it. Anything is better than LSU though

I do. Stanford is in one of the hardest regionals imo. If they win, they will have to fly across the country and take 2/3 from us in one of the hardest atmospheres in america.

If we are smart we should throw someone other than Small against Southern and save him for Miami/Cent Michigan. Go 2-0 and let Ginn finish the final game to for an easy regional

Why does it even matter? We're competing for a national championship. We're going to have to beat good teams to win it all. There are no easy outs in this tournament.

We have the 3rd easiest cumulative RPI regional.

Because southern and CMU. Miami is a 17. They aren’t someone we need to look past at all

everyone in the stanford regional sucks. 1-3 in our regional are better than all them. we are gonna crush everyone tho i have faith in this team.

Getting Elijah back is a HUGE step in the right direction. Need Jake and Jordan to start hitting the damn ball now. Tanner Allen has been playing too damn good as well he might leave after this season if he plays any better

First Game 1 win in a regional since 2016 believe it or not since we have won every regional since. This game 2 with Small will be a grind vs CMU or Miami

That's an odd stat for sure.
Looks like we have CMU in the night game. Given how Southern played yesterday, Miami may be 2-n-Q.
While we put up 11 runs yesterday, I thought we were way too aggressive at the plate and swung at a lot of terrible pitches. Hopefully we can be a bit more patient at the plate today.
