LSU looks like they're on their four year cycle.

Yes. Now he gets beat on every play he's in defensively.

Does the fact that our defense is unable to get off the field vs Northwestern State bother anyone else?

I know it's only Northwestern State but, Nick Fitzgerald was looking good on that drive.

Reporter just said that Dan pulled Manny to the side and told him " I hired you to coach the defense because I didn't want to, now go coach the defense".

The Diaz lovefest has officially ended and real life has once again reared its ugly head.

On a brighter note, it looks like we have two capable QB's behind Dak.

While I agree with the sentiment, I hope he doesn't run off the new DC like the last one

Also, Mullen coaching the defense may have been a slight improvement over what we had in the Orange bowl.

I understand his frustration but he needs to chill the frick out and not talk to grown men like that.

No kidding. He isn't going to get run off but I think Dan knows the stakes of the games now that he has "risen" the expectations around Starkvegas. And I have to say the tackling specifically and "relentless" effort, or lack thereof is just jaw droppingly bad. We are always out of position to do the ancient practice of form tackling at the chest. Instead they all fall low and miss tackles and one arm tackle to no avail. I want to see some boys break it down and hit somebody. Also our turnover margin is terrible. We are negative on that. I am not sure by how much but I know we are. And that is a hallmark of the DIAZ system. Creating turnovers. WHERE DE GO?

Do you want to coach MSU for about 4 mil a year since you don't think Mullen knows what he's doing?

Losing your mind in a bullshite game is exactly what Mullen needs to be doing. That way things are fixed before an SEC game. If Freeze doesn't yell at his coordinators it's because he hasn't had a reason to this year or is a pussy. I'm going to guess it's the former...

Yeah Diaz is making plenty of money to deal with being yelled at. We should be 3-0 right now with a win over the best te in te conference though, and I blame Dan for that, so maybe he needs to do some yelling in front of a mirror.

On a really good note, when the "kids" were the only ones out there on D, they did very well. They covered well and tackled well and totally shut NSU down. The 4th quarter could have been really ugly, but they kept everything in check.

I have no worries about the future of MSU quarterbacks.

I have no problem with him saying that behind closed doors, but it's a poor look in front of the team.

Dak is flying way under the radar, quietly having a bad arse season. Responsible for 7 TD's and no INT's.
