after further research put me down for a non-believer. We will go 5-7 in 2020 and 3-9 in 2021. Cohen thinks he is funny so he will give him 4 years because muh discipline. Recruiting will tank and we will be last in the SEC for multiple years.

I agree that he not the answer to a championship type of program. He has improved teams at Tech, and Ws. but neither program became elite. However, when have we ever been an elite football team?
Quite frankly, though I did not like JM's style of coaching, I was surprised that they did not give him year 3.

I mean did you see the program we were building?. Losing season after he couldn't control our players in the locker room or their cheating in the classroom.

That's a little too far right now to predict.
I'm a little concerned about switching to Air Raid but all it takes is getting his QB and we should be a darned good squad. It will take us playing some decent defense though. But it will take getting a guy who can sling it and Receivers that can actually catch.

Yeah I'm with you CDawg. The bowl streak was ending with year 3 of Moorhead.
And it may very well end this year regardless just because of Leach completely changing the system. It's going to be hard imo to see the QB and WRs needed to be successful year 1. But it could be like a 2009 Mullen where we see hope for the long term.
But I believe after year 3 we'll be consistently where we need to be.
I'm not sure Kylin coming back makes a huge difference since Leach hardly runs at all. But it helps.

Kylin will make a big difference. Leach uses his athletes and his philosophy is getting everyone to touch the ball. Hill will get his carries and Leach will use him a lot to throw to on checkdowns

He recruited the incoming QB Russell while he was at Wazzou so theres some familiarity there. I watched some of his game vids and he looks pretty good. Not sure how Coach is about starting a Freshman tho but I think he will start the one who gives the best chance to win.
Leach is kinda like Spurrier where he will yank a QB if he's screwing up.

I think Leach is a good enough coach to adjust his philosophy somewhat until he gets his players in the fold. Obviously, Moorhead struggled with that but I think for 2020 Leach will play to the strengths of this team. But just my opinion though.
