From what I remember about deep south linguistics, those words would translate to:

"finna two".

'DAWGS fixin' to Eat!

I'm excited!

For some reason, I feel like screens & passes to backs are going to work very well this year.

I think this team is going to be better than we expect.

Saw today where one of the DL's said the DL was deeper than last year, which caught me a little off guard. Actually reading good stuff about the OL too.

Very optimistic about this year. Past slip-ups can all be traced back to malevolent engrams that took hold of Dan, however I believe his tireless auditing has finally purged his thetan free.

Shouldn't be all that difficult to exceed expectations this year. Most pundits aren't expecting much of anything from us post-Dak. Guess I can't feel too hard at them though as most non-MSU fans likely can't name a player on our team at the moment.

I'd like whatever you are having!

OL is my biggest concern going in to the season. I'm also hoping that AU, south carolina and aTm are imploding by the time we play them.

Our schedule is perfect for a rebuilding year. There are legitimately 8 games that we will have to be bad to lose. And that's if A&M and/or LSU doesn't go full dumpster fire.

Read good stuff about the 1st 5 of the O Line; mighty thin behind them...

Schedule isn't tough, but S. Alabama, Umass, and Samford are the only sure wins on the schedule. @BYU will be a challenge. @UK isn't a given, nor is S. Carolina. They still have talent on that team. They just quit last year.

I see us winning 7-9 games including a bowl win, but to say there are 8 games that we have to be bad to lose is asinine.

I agree with Skirp. While our OL may suck, we couldn't ask for a better draw against the SEC east, and our toss-up games are at home.

I really hope our OL is at least serviceable.

Is the consensus that we are not good at recruiting OL, or that Hev is not good at developing them?

Ben beckwith was an all American as a walk on. He can develop but it's harder to hit on the unknowns then it is to develop a good to great recruit out of high school. So it goes to recruiting if you ask me.

Is there an MSU-rant tailgate?

I'm driving over for the South Caroliney game.

Anyone have any scuttlebutt on how the OL and RBs have looked?

I read a bit about Mullen's press conference on Saturday. He liked the first team OL. Said that we need to work on depth because you need more than 5.

Mostly he said that we would play a lot of the younger players, and it was time for them to decide if they wanted to learn and play or sit and watch.

I didn't see anything specifically targeted at the RB's.

At worst I think we win 6 games. At best 8
