I wouldn’t be surprised if we have a better record with a worse team next year

I expect our WRs to be better next year with our younger guys getting experience and we will be better passing the ball.

O line should be fine and we still have hill.

Defense will be decent but not as good as next year.

Big prove it year for Moorhead but that was always the case. He should have a QB better suited to his system this year.

Can’t be worse at receiver next year. Schedule sets up better as well.

Kind of hard to pick a team to do well without a known starting QB.

I feel like we can keep the bowl streak entact. And that is the important thing as we will have gone to a bowl game every year in this decade.

I will have to see how we do vs Iowa before I get totally on board with this thought. But I can see it.

We should start 4-0 and who knows what kind of team Auburn or Tenn will be. We should beat Ark and Ole miss and a win over the Nov. cupcake.

7-5. It would be nice to upset LSU at home and maybe reach 8.

Not ready to pencil in 4-0. Kentucky is a solid team and I would pick them to beat us again in Starkville. It is a bit unlucky State gets Tennessee and Arkansas on the road. But State is better than both teams and I would pick State to beat both. I think Auburn is 40/60. A&M is 20/80. LSU is 60/40 and Alabama is 15/85.

Why? They lose 7 starters on offense and 7 or 8 starters on defense. Even if they just lost Benny Snell and Josh Allen, they would have a tough time matching this year's success.

All the guys returning have another year in the system. Change is tough and the true results and benefits don't come immediately. Takes a couple of years.

We always seem to over perform in low expectation years and under perform in high expectation years.

I think our record will be about the same, but we'll be happier about it. We got off to a bad start in SEC play this year. To the team's and coaches credit though, though righted the ship.

As much as I've been negative on Moorhead, I do hope/think he's gotten a feel for SEC play and competition. As a first year coach in this league, there are probably a lot of adjustments and a different learning curve.

Also, Auburn should be a bit down next year, who knows about LSU, and aTm will still be weak at the line of scrimmage (though they do have an easy schedule).
