Well that's not true. John predicted it 24-17 Ole Miss and Bo said he thought State's defense would keep it pretty close for 3 qtrs and we would score late to make it double digits.
On the other hand, Aslan Hodges (on Home Cooking) I believe predicted it to be like 35-14 us and I haven't heard him say shite about himself being wrong.
ETA: Congrats to Gabe. Most definitely deserving and refreshing to see a workhorse get the award.

I'm gonna have to say that this actually shocked me. In no way am I trying to say Gabe didn't deserve it, because he did and I'm glad he won. However, this is the first time in history that this trophy has gone to an Offensive Lineman. Awards like this rarely do. I agree. I think that the trophy 99% of the time is given to a player from the team that wins the Egg Bowl. Banks was the best player in Mississippi last year but the reason he didn't get it was because Bo lit up State.

Peria and Michael were both first team all-americans that year too. They went full retard in 2008.
