Coonass meet Darkhorse. He has a serious Man crush on Tyler so much so he had to get his autograph.

After all the shite darkhorse spews about dak underperforming, he forgets, it was the kids first sec start on the road for crying out loud. Dak is the future of MSU football. I appreciate everything Tyler has done for this program. But his time has passed, he doesn't fit the offense, never has never will.

Eta: Tyler's stats from his first year starting after sitting a year and only having spot duty thus far in his career, same as dak.
mash here

Here's the issue with what you are comparing. TR isn't in his first year. He doesn't make the mistakes that Dak will make in learning. which is the point.

You disregarded a coonass post. Under normal circumstances I would applaud you but in this rate case he is correct.

LOLOLOL

You don't have to think back very far (4 games vs. NW) to find the worst game of his MSU career. It's not like he's steadily progressing and making zero mistakes now as an experienced QB.

Great point. He played flawless against Oklahoma State, Northwestern, and Ole Miss. That's his last three games, Dumbhorse.

Tyler Russell did not completely cost us the game against Northwestern. His 4 interceptions were not game changers.

Say what?

3rd play of the game- Russell throws a pick-6 to put us down 7-0

2nd drive? We are driving for a TD- Russell throws pick at the NW 9 yard line

2nd quarter- Autry intercepts a pass and runs it back to the NW 15- what does Russell do? Throws pick on 1st play

Even after all that we recover- and are only down 27-20 in the 4th- we get the ball and Tyler throws another pick thats run back to the 4 yard line.

He essentially threw 2 Pick-6's and we lost by 14 points

I'll pay anyone who will go to darkhorse's nursing home and smash the community computer with a hammer.

He threw for over 200 yards

He completed only 52.5%. The the DC saw that, adjusted and dared Dak to beat them with his arm. He could not. Again against the worst Auburn defense. Against a horrible SEC defense.

Here is what will happen. TR will be cleared at some point and will start. All but a few here will be pissed, and the first thing that goes wrong, TR's fault or not, you will find a way to blame him. Play calling goes bad, TR's fault. Our OL can't run block and RBs are not producing, TR's fault.

OR

Dak will start. Play calling will be bad, and your excuses will be play calling and Dak learning. When in reality he has been in the system now 3 years. When in reality, true freshmen start and produce. They complete higher ratio of passes.

There is an issue, and it's not TR. It was there last season. It wasn't TR. Go and look at the massive amounts of rushing yards we had against teams like LSU, Bama...etc.

Go now and look at the weaknesses of the rest of the defenses we face. Mostly pass defense. Yet you want to play into their hands because of what?

Don't be an arse. You are gauging him by 1 game! He threw all of 6 INTs in regular season.
