I was in the Sanderson playing basketball yesterday, and there were a ton of football players in there. Now, it wouldn't bother me at all if it was just a bunch of walk-on's in there. But, Bernardrick and Derunya were in there playing all out against Jalen and Wendell.

I'm not sure if Mullen had any knowledge of it, but what the hell happens when one of them sprains an ankle or injures a knee dicking around against a bunch of washed up players in a pick-up game of basketball? Thoughts?

I used to wonder the same thing when I was in school. If I was a coach on the football team and saw Mckinney out there, I would lose it. Just makes me wonder where our priorities are.

Not only that, but what the heck is McKinney thinking? He's a first round draft pick lock barring an injury. Why would he even risk getting injured playing any other sport besides football.

I always thought basketball helped me, but I ducked for cover if I saw a coach or heard that one of them was in the building.

I mean it's great conditioning, no doubt. But I think the players (by this point in the season) are already in game shape. There is not really an upside. Only a chance for injury. I can also understand how they get burnt out and wanna have a little fun on the courts, but I'm just saying I don't like it and definitely don't think its smart.

I agree, but we lose fact of one important thing. These are kids. They wanna have fun with their buddies. Is it a risk? Sure. But should they really not be allowed to have any fun? Grey area. I have seen the same when I was at OM and wondered the same.

DT Shackleford and Greg Hardy use to always play with us in the Turner Center and I swear it seemed like DT left every time with a busted ankle or knee problem. Foreshadowing?

Chris Muniz, Ivan Muniz, and Chris Cameron (didn't he graduate?) teamed up with some of the soccer team for intramural volleyball.

Thought that was pretty interesting. Did pretty good till they got their asses handed to them in the playoffs.

Not that it was a big risk but I was always under the impression that all other sports were off limits. Maybe Mullen has gotten more relaxed.

Greg Hardy used to embarrass fools over at The Exchange. I'm talking about mawnkey dunkin ballz to the forehead embarrass. It was quite entertaining. And yes, I thought it was stupid.
