Maybe it will come out that Mullen has a drug addiction or something. He needs some sort of excuse.

I'm coming back and I'm emptyquotin' all these negative posts Wednesday. Mullen is going straight to SHS to hoist AJ and Kobe up on his broad shoulders right after they fax in their LOI to the dawgs.

The excuse is that he stopped recruiting for a 2 week period because he thought he was getting the Miami job. That's a lot of momentum to regain in recruiting.

Hevesy was in charge of the local area but was pulled out for inefficacy about halfway through the recruiting calendar. Take that, the recruiting break, and the fact that State lost their 2 best recruiters in Hughes and Diaz. This is all coming from a State guy. He says you'll sign Lashley and Jones though.

I didn't wanna believe it, but it's starting to make too much sense. Mullen fricked up this class directly as a result of his actions & I suggest that should not go unpunished. Perhaps lock him up in the stocks on the Drill Field for a week.

I'm starting to think Mullen doesn't care anymore and just wants out. If that's the case, he needs to just resign if he isn't going to put forth a full effort

The thing you all need to realize is that recruiting rankings are for fat old men behind computers who like to jerk off to high school boys.

It is baseball season, 2012 should have taught us that recruiting classes can't be judged for 3 years.

That's my story, and to hell with anyone who disagrees.

Yea, teams who recruit the best routinely suck.

Can't be that they recruit well because they are routinely good. Saban's first championship teams weren't supported by 4 years of top 5 classes, after all. TCU and Baylor aren't routinely pulling top classes, yet they routinely kick arse.

I would argue that winning is generally followed by great recruiting, not necessarily the other way around.

Michigan has sucked for years while recruiting well, so has Texas.
