Jake "Baby Ichiro" Mangum is gonna have had a heck of a career once he leaves Starkville. He's got the funniest looking gait too, but he's pretty damn quick so who cares

I lived in Japan when Ichiro hit the bigs over there. Ichiro was really fast. He lead the league in steals, and he had a cannon for an arm.
He always played RF. When Orix went into the field, he stood in one corner of the outfield, the left fielder stood in the other corner. The left fielder would throw it to center, the center fielder would throw it to Ichiro, and he would throw it across the field to the left fielder who didn't have to move an inch to catch the throw. You would have to see it to believe it.
There are a lot of Ichiro throwing highlight videos. Here is one if you have a few minutes and really appreciate good defense, and quite frankly, these are from the Major Leagues when he didn't have the stuff that he did through the first 10 years in Japan's big leagues.

Yeah, that first inning was rough -- I thought we were going to blow it open to begin with, but then Collins first swing hit into a double play.
Lots of good hitting later though. Hopefully we can win all 3 remaining series, as well as get a sweep of one in there and we should be set.

Cohen's decisions confuse me, and the Mizzou pitcher pitched a hell of a game, but we stole one tonight.
Well done staying in the game, and hitting balls hard to at least induce some errors.
We need to sweep tomorrow!

I've noticed where these clunkers are making a comeback, especially in the basic bitch ranks. That, with yeezys probably helped Adidas make a comeback, if I'm guessing.

We're coming in hot on A&M's lead. Down a game, they have Vandy today, @USC next week, and Ole Miss after that. We have Mizzou, @Auburn, then Arky. I like our chances.

You rarely hear that around MSU anything. It would be really, really hard to catch up on the overall, but I like where we are in the West, and as ridiculously tough as it is, that is no small feat.
