More settled in mind and body.
MSU over the next 2 years will be hard to beat on the field.

Yeah not sure what took Pollock so long. Guy is going to UNC.

I don't see us having a legit shot at flipping Lewis. Bama doesn't have a single ILB commit outside of Lewis
What the recruiting sites have listed is misleading as to where they project at Bama. For instance, this year Keaton Anderson is listed as an OLB but he's an inside guy for Bama all day. That's the only reason they haven't been balls to the wall on Caban.
Bama recruits LB a lot like Collins does. They like long, rangy guys. Last year they signed 5 LBs and only 1 was listed as an inside guy but I guarantee that multiple of those guys end up inside.
But to your point, I agree on Lewis. I'm not getting my hopes up.

I never understood his hype to begin with. He's under 6' and light. MSU never recruits LBs like that.

You didn't grow any after your freshman year of high school?

Yeah according to 247 he's 6'0 and 205 now. So still not massive. We may have hoped he would grow more and just did not want him.

Of course but not many kids get that much taller. You see skinny 6'3 kids that can run fill out routinely but you rarely see a 5'10 190 freshman grow to 6'3 225. End of the day, that kid was a friend of Robert Washington's (team USA) that jumped on the package that no longer exist. I'm not worried about moving on at all.

That's what it says but brings up an important question: Has there ever been a prospect listed at 6' that's really 6'?

Sailed, hit an ice berg, sunk, and Leo Dicaprio died.

Damn...how many running backs do you folks want?
Posted on 6/17/14 at 10:19 am to Eric Nies Grind Time
ALL OF THEM
RB position is a crutch, and as State fans we're not used to being this deep in other positions.
Croom made us this way.

God damn, I feel like I'm reading the 24/7 sunshine pumping the last two pages or something.
Pivey blasting Engie for absolutely no reason at all, other than being a tool sometimes, and LOL at that coming from Pivey.
What? He may be now, but by that post it sounds like you meant he's been pro UNC all along. Dude has had nothing to say but that he has been solidly committed to State for over a year.
To emphasize what Requiem said, the kid is young, he's going to grow, if he only ends up at 6'1" there's plenty of guys that size playing the position. He didn't get ranked that high for no reason as a freshman in high school, along with numerous other accolades.
Again, this is that 24/7 stuff. Didn't want him? Maybe he doesn't turn out to be a highly coveted recruit but come on. Didn't want him?
Now this may actually be true, I'm not disagreeing with most of you that we might not have put up a big fight seeing him leave, but saying we didn't want him is still something that sunshine people say when trying to make things look better than they are with the particular situation.

Go read his twitter...he's a big UNC fan. Plus his crystal ball has been going UNC for a long time. Why is it so crazy to drop someone? Sometimes it's sunshine, sometimes it's not. Go look at his offer sheet...quality school's aren't exactly beating his door down.

Oh, he was 2015? For some reason I thought he was 2016.
Anyways, whenever I read stuff about him, he was always talked about as one of those can't-miss guys.

Washington is a 2016 guy. He was pretty hyped when we first got him to commit. I am not sure how great he is.
