I like it, I just hope our OL are coming along. I know that Clausell, Robinson, and Siddoway have the potential there. Im not worried about our interior guys at all.
Exactly... The OL may not be a strength, but it won't be a weakness this year. We just need our OG's to stay mostly healthy. IF they do, we will have the ability to throw early to get a lead, then just pound the rock up the middle and milk the clock. Tobias Smith and Gabe Jackson is probably the best OG combo I remember us having...

This. Our only question mark honestly is at RT. Clausell improved as the season went on. I expect him to at least be serviceable this season. I think having Siddoway and Robinson at RT will allow them to push each other to improve.

You don't know that yet. Easily our weakest position.

I agree with Titties and Beer. Plus, the o-line seems to be our most injury prone position.

thanks for calling me by my real name.

Agreed. OL, WR, and QB are the questions marks. Everything else should be salty.

Depth is better there than it's been.
We had 4 rsFR in the 2-deep last year. This year there is 1 listed in an -or- position. Our coaches have said the depth is much better.
Being our weakest link still doesn't necessarily make it a weakness. Last year, it was a weakness after injury. We will be better here than last year, simply by not having glaring weaknesses in the backup roles.

Because the guys those weaknesses were backing up graduated so now the weaknesses are your starters. Are you really this slow

are you serious? im not saying that your oline isnt going to be good but you just said its our weakest position but its not a weakness. I don't get it. if its your weakest postition then its a weakness. everybody and every team has a weakness, it is okay

State doesn't have a weakness. Watch out

Your looking at the context of "weakness within a team." I'm looking at "weakness in relation to other teams."

I'm done arguing with these slapdicks until we have kicked off- just like last year, they will be long gone once football actually starts. They can sustain when speaking in hypotheticals

By this reasoning, teams should automatically get worse every single year...infinitely...to the end of time.
First and Second yr OL RARELY have success in the SEC. That doesn't make them bad players. It is our coaches' fault for not having adequate upperclassmen depth on the OL and forcing them to play too soon. Derek Sherrod can attest to this. This "brand new OL" is actually 1 new player that we haven't seen, RT, where the 2nd highest rated OL from MS in the history of Scout rankings is now in his 3rd year(rated higher than Sherrod was)...along with the #1 overall player hs in Oregon in 2009.
We are no doubt destined to suck at the position**

How old are you seriously because you make no damn sense.
Sherrod did not redshirt. He played his freshmen year, and then he played his sophomore year, then he played his Junior year and was good. He had 2 years of playing experience under his belt and was good the 3rd year.
Your LT and RT are sophomores and have 1 season of experience as backups. This year for them is not equivalent to Sherrod's 3rd year.

It would probably just be easier to call it "our greatest concern" and then perhaps we could all agree.
