A younger buddy of mine plays football at EMCC and said he thinks Cox is a bulldog but said that Za'darius is pretty much up in the air

I don't pay for recruiting info, but I thought the general consensus was the opposite.

Need both of those guys VERY badly.
Alot of people starting to think Autry may be a one and done...And we'll lose all 3 experienced CB's. Some talk that Nickoe could leave early on a good year as well. He's currently projected as the #4FS (a 2nd-3rd rounder) in 2014...

Honestly, with Love, Calhoun, Redmond, and Jiles(who balled out today and looked better than Redmond) I'm more concerned about Free Safety next year. If Nickoe stays than we'll be fine, but if not we'll have Arrington at Strong and whoever couldn't beat out Broomfield at FS unless Cox or Conner comes over.

People think we currently sit well with both of them...
The thing on Za'Darius is that he's from central Alabama(Greenville). He wants his mom to be able to see him play, and it's an equal distance to Tallahassee and Starkville. FSU is going after him hard. If Auburn looks at him and offers, it'll likely be over, but hopefully they won't with the line talent they have stockpiled(may get 3 5*s on the DL this year). I think we have an excellent chance based on his relationship with Denico.
Cox is from West Point. He's enjoying the recruiting process and visiting all the bigtime schools, because he was only recruited by MSU out of highschool. He could go elsewhere, but it just makes alot of sense for him to end up @ State. As a DB, MSU will be a dream situation for him next year. He'll be a day 1 starter...

I know I thought it was the opposite to but I'm just saying what he says and since he plays with them and sees the everyday I kinda trust what he says they say about the recruiting process. Said both were badasses to

If Nickoe leaves early, Jay Hughes is more than ready to take over at FS.

Will have to wait and see on that one... Not completely sold on Hughes yet.

You may be the 1st person I've seen that has said something positive above Hughes. You never really hear anything about him.

Broomfield is sold on him. Personally I'd believe what he says

We were all caught off guard with that one...
For whatever reason, our coaches like Simpson better. I trust their evaluations on underrated talent at this point, especially on the DL. It's not like we're desperate at the position...have recruited and developed very well there under this staff.

I wanna say that 247 had him as a TE. Either way, I can't say he was anywhere on the radar.

I've always thought Ultric Jones would end up at State or OM. If Auburn's defensive line class hadn't been so stout, we would've taken him. I like his size.

And there it is Ulric jones committs according to 24/7

Ulric is agreeing to a conditional greyshirt basically... The deal is IF there ends up being room in this class, he gets a scholarship, and if there isn't, he comes in December.
Numbers are very tight for us right now on the 85 limit, and it doesn't seem Mullen is much waning to process kids. Almost none of Croom's 08 class is still around, then we played half the 09 class immediately, while redshirting the other half. Then in 10, we started redshirting basically everyone, and have had almost no attrition. Basically, this caused us to end up with tiny JR and SR classes...something like 17 SR and 14 JR...
