They laid no ground work for us to get a decent QB last year and it looks like... has the APPEARANCE OF taking a flight back over to france to find a fresh pooch to screw.
We put all of our work into Cord. At the last minute, we try to get Dobbs, now with how many weeks before NSD do we offer O'Korn?
Well at least its not a very important position on the field or anything.

This and TE.
We could have one of the best TE's in the nation. We just fail to use him properly.

Townsend with Conner...
David Turner with Jason Carr...
The whole story on the QB situation:
Dobbs told us he was going to decommit from ASU this weekend while on his OV there. He didn't. Now he tells us he doesn't know -- so we extended the offer to O'Korn. Apparently we've made it clear to O'Korn that Dobbs is a priority to us -- so the reason he's not giving a clear answer about his visit intention is because he's waiting to know Dobbs' intention. He's saying all the right things in public, but once we fully move on from Dobbs, he will visit and commit to us.
Jason Smith is the priority behind those two, who we are positive that we can definitely flip as a QB prospect...

I said good...but I guess Sanford is a decent player.

Jesus. Let's move on. Our staff can't have Dobbs that much higher on the board than O'Korn. We are going to get burned, if we keep waiting around.

They do.
Based on him being at all our camps the past 2 years, performing there, etc... They are VERY high on Dobbs. O'Korn is more of an unknown to them. We've never even seen him play in person. Just highlight tapes. This staff is/has always been HUGE on in-person evaluations...

No, we aren't. I don't know how I can make it any more clear than I already have...

I am I wrong, but if history is an indicator then we will get burnt.

What history shows this? Feel free to link me to kids burning us under Mullen for Houston or any other comparable programs. My info on O'Korn is as solid as it can possibly be. Believe it or don't...
The last week has been nothing but one long meltdown for you over nothing tangible, starting with being played like a fiddle by Rebs on Chris Jones bullshite and leading to this. Just chill out man. We've got a great class. We will get a second great QB, and we're going to close it out with a few players that surprise the hell out of people -- for our best class of the modern era. Nevermind having the #4 overall player according to ESPN announce for us on national tv on signing day...
There are at least 4 different 4* official visitors coming to Starkville this weekend that are not currently committed to MSU. TIFWIW. Some names are out there, some aren't yet -- but it's happening. IF it goes how I think it may, people are going to leave this weekend thinking Brewster is a f'n wizard... and then everyone will look that much more ridiculous for the premature meltdown

I've heard a certain 4* WR currently committed to a Big 12 school will be in attendance.

What about them is even remotely similar to this situation? You are looking with hindsight. Not foresight. When were we ever spurned by a 3* for a non-bcs Program? I'll be waiting. But instead, you choose to look at it by the fact that we got turned down late by 4* and 5* players in a couple of seasons -- when we had NO, I repeat ZERO history of a decent QB -- or of developing one. Do you not think Tyler Russell's development has changed that game for us for the better?

Why make this personal?
That's not making anything personal. That's pointing out simple facts -- ideally for the greater good. Melting down all over every MSU message board and being on the front end of an unnecessary panic does nothing but indirectly hurt MSU. I guess some people need to experience a situation where you are 1 degree away from this shite(be close to a recruit) to understand how this hurts us...

That's 1 of the 4 for sure...

Check our 24/7 targets...
Supposed to be kept lowkey though, so let's not talk about it in detail until he actually makes it to campus.
