Mullen and company better step up or Freeze will pass him by. It's sad that the guy has been there one season and is already grabbing this kids after a mediocre season.

He has had a lot of help though, nkemdiches brother already goes to OM, Daniels wanted to play with Nkemdiche and people forget that treadwell's old HS teammate goes to OM and had a lot to do with him going there

True. I just feel like we have a few coaches that aren't exactly worth keeping and they are holding us back. I.E. Koenning and Sallach. Neither are doing much recruiting nor on the field.

Does not matter in my opinion... We will be a top 10 class filling the needs we have.

This gets overlooked... He was a late signee for OM and Treadwell actually came with him and helped him move in -- so obviously, it was a very, very close friend.

Kudos to Freeze for recognizing it and making it happen though! Wish we showed more craftiness in this regard...

Bingo.

Look at the splash Brewster and Townsend have made. I don't think you need your best recruiters to be coordinators though -- just go out and get the best offensive mind out there(Troy OC)... and the best recruiter you can find at WHATEVER position is his specialty. Brew can cover the passing side with tight ends and receivers, while Hevesy can cover the blocking... so it doesn't necessarily have to be a TE coach.

Sallach is pretty obviously a bad coach. The TE's seem to stay the same in regards of their abilities IMO. And you never see his name pop up with recruits. I've seen every coach on campus but him and Koenning. I mean our offense put up record numbers this year, but it's almost in spite of Koenning's shitty play-calling.

Still #60 in scoring offense and #80 in total offense... So, basically, the offense was still shitty relative to other teams of today...

I'm going to be f'n pissed if Koenning gets to stay. No doubt about it.

I don't really see a situation where Keonning, Sallach, or Hevesy for that matter, get removed by Mullen.

What do you guys think Shumperts role will be his freshman year or will he be redshirted?

Don't see him not being redshirted. We have a lot of depth at RB right now

I could be wrong but if he isn't redshirted I think y'all will use him as a utility player kind of like we did with Mackey this year.

I think Shump's future has a lot to do with how Griffin returns from his latest injury.

Shump will play RB. He is the only RB we signed and we only have 3 healthy RBs on our roster as of now.

I've seen him play WR in high school and it looked pretty legit.

Hearing we may know something on Dobbs tonight or tomorrow. If he OVs this weekend, we will know his intentions... Personally, I look for us to try to get O'Korn in this weekend...
