Scout reporting Alexanders to visit this weekend -- Rivals reporting next weekend.
I feel like IF we are bringing them in this weekend, we must be DAMN SURE we have their position coach in place -- which makes me believe Townsend MAY be our guy!
Ramsey ship has basically sailed. He's down to USC and Florida. Losing Melvin killed us with him -- he was our in with Ramsey's mom that gave us such a good chance of landing him.

They are coming in this weekend. As I stated on the previous page, I too believe we have secured the db coaching position.
Ramsey is still open for us. That ship has not sailed, but we have to get answers soon. If we do not, we will have shut the door to him.

If we land Townsend to be our DB coach it would be huge. Tony Conner was interviewed today and asked about it and he said that would be a huge deal because he's made it to the NFl and they are good friends, said he comes to their 7-7 almost every year! Also Alexander twins and Ramsey. Ramsey is not solid to USC he said he was as solid as their new secondary coach.

Was Conner banged up late this year? He didn't do anything State Championship, MS AL All star game, and Under Armour game??? Or at least I didn't see it

ESPN films way too tight for you really see anything a safety does unless he gets a pick or an ed reed type hit. As long as you didn't see him getting burnt, it doesn't really mean anything.

I've seen nothing saying it's about grades...What I've seen says "his heart just wasn't in it at Mississippi State", etc. He also had a torn ACL -- and was at best the #3 CB in his own class.
We're at 80 scholarship players right now -- we lose 17 seniors -- We're expected to sign 27(including the 2 from Hargrave that count toward last class). That means we will have to lose about 5 more guys before August 1st -- and that's assuming we don't put Golden on scholarship, which we may...
