Sandberg (#29) ranked ahead of Buchanan (#33) on Scout now.
Also, our team rank is up to #17 after today's updates.

First off, it is great to be amongst my dawg brethern. I don't post on the regular rant board....too much flaming and craziness.
Second, I am loving how the recruiting is going. Things look great with Rumph, Shumpert, Cox, and Z. Smith. I am skeptical about Connor, but I think we have as good a shot as anyone else.
The OM/Scout faithful are having fits over all the bumps our recruits got on that network. It is pretty awesome that our guys are getting some recognition. Things can only get better from here.

He might. Would like to see him stay. Maybe is Koenning ever retires or leaves he could possibly move to OC if he learns the offense well enough.

Cord's last game he threw for 227 yards and 4 touchdowns 
Buchanan on the other hand on national tv (in the south) completed only SIX of 12 passes threw 2 interceptions AND had 2 fumbles

I have seen footage from Cord's first two games and that kid is about as legit a qb as we will ever see. The baseball thing is killing me. That being said, I like our chances of him playing football for us.
Oh, Buchanan is bad. He is a pick machine.

Cord Sandberg is legit. He ain't playing against teams like Hillcrest and Copiah Academy, he is playing against big inner city Miami area teams that are loaded with talent.
He is putting up big numbers and winning while doing so.
I really have a good feeling that we ultimately get Cord to come to State and play both sports.

I know it's not as hard to beat public schools in basketball as people like to think. I don't think we ever lost to a public school of equal or less size in camp. That's two weeks. I don't think we ever lost to a 2a team. And we were the equivalent of a 1a. But yeah, by looking at Sandberg's numbers vs Buchanan's numbers, and considering who they are playing against, it doesn't seem like they are anywhere in the same ballpark.

I agree with this completely. I know the point Bundy was making, and I agree with his point as well. I was just screwing with him.
I don't think anyone who has the slightest knowledge of HS football in the state of MS can legitimately make an argument of Buchanan over Sandberg. We are way behind Fl., Al., Tx., La., etc. in all aspects of the game.
I feel so like so many State fans (myself included) want to compare Buchanan and Sandberg and forget they have another great option in Kincade (until he flips). I think he's legit.

MSU commit @K_Moore5 told me since the dead period ended other schools have continued to recruit him.He also expects MSU to upset Alabama.
