Good matchup for us imo. Iowa is one of the best in forced turnovers so the Cats will need to tighten up that area. Hopefully our Run D shows up and offense keeps rolling.

What do you think? Any of you all making the trip?

Stoops audition for his dream job? Just joking, hopefully

Should be a physical game and a good one. Looking forward to it.

I was just thinking we picked the wrong bowl year to start slinging it around in the air. Iowa fans already seething watching their offense the week before the title game.

That concern aside... great opponent as long as we don't turn it over its pretty much a win.

Turnovers, line of scrimmage, the usual suspects will determine the winner. Iowa has a real stout defense, Michigan burned them early as did Purdue. Hopefully, we can too. I don't think we can just line up and run it down their throats. Levis needs to be on target and the O-line needs to block.

They did go 10-3 so they can score and I worry about our pass defense still.

Total Offense
Rank 123

Passing Offense
Rank 110

Scoring Offense
Rank 95 23.9 points per game

While technically yes they can score points nothing on their offense scares me.

From what I have seen this is an Iowa team. By which I mean, not too many offensive fireworks, a solid defense, a team that tends to not shoot themselves in the pecker.

Unless you have turnoverapalooza this should be a game that Kentucky slowly, but surely, pulls away for the win.

Well Iowa's 1000 yard running back opting out is an interesting turn. So I guess now we just have to worry about their tight end completing passes to himself

Tbf o line is part of what makes those yards happen.
They may have someone capable of stepping up

An ugly win is a hell of a lot prettier than a great loss.

None of us expected the game day revelations of who wouldn't be playing for us. Still third stringers and the stars, Robinson, Rodriguez, Levis, Square and Corker got the job done. Yes Corker had a good game and turned the Iowa QB enough to throw the pick.

I thought we were toast at the 3:59 mark with the INT but the D got two huge stops and the o-line finally blocked enough.

I can cheer for this football team and coaching staff.

GO BIG BLUE!
