Why was the "Criminals in College Football Thread" deleted

There was a lot of positive discussion in that thread. There were no personal attacks. It was not a cliff hanger. There was zero flaming.
It's a legitimate conversation being had in the CFB world.
USA Today, SB Nation, ESPN, CBS, Nola.com, Yahoo Sports, La Times, Bleacher Report
Have all posted articles on Hill in the last 24 hours, and the articles have been critical of Miles unwillingness to punish the player, but that's not up for discussion on this board?
