Because the 8 other UGA fans in the thread either said no or non-committed.
You picked the 1 who said yes to single out for his reasoning (no doubt adding him to the CP and questioning his worldview), while every single other UGA fan in the thread either said 'No' or 'no vote/pass/no comment'.
Not necessarily controversial, just illogical.

I disagree.
We have a situation here where we have been saddled with a new security guard that is just dying to wave his new magic wand around to open up the gates to his SECR bros.
So, if votes are gonna count during the one-day admissions process (as they have been doing) well, then we need to point out the ridiculousness of the reasoning behind some of the votes, imo.
If that makes me the a-hole, so be it.

Didn't realize he was asking to join the high counsel of the hidden illuminati of the ages and we needed to be so strict.

Like someone said above, he just wants something to bitch about.
To the OP, I vote no until the Dawgrant gets its process sorted out for new membership. This poster does make a compelling case though that should be revisited later

Gonna say no.... Im not one who has the big issue with other fan bases on board. But there does need to be a cap.

But not if you get on there and start talking braves/falcons/hawks shite. That irritates me.
Our teams play each other this year so I don't mind you being there.

I appreciate that, but know that it will have no bearing on whether you get on UGA board. I have no power. As a matter of fact, it might even hurt your chances, as people will get the idea it was some sort of package deal, and they frown upon package deals.
